Easter baskets

Well i meant to get the fantastic first look at my new comic Pale Rider up but my inability to do backgrounds to my own satisfaction has caused me to delay it. I might have been able to do it yesterday if not for the fact that i spent all day out in the freezing cold trying to get the family cars working i missed my math class for the 3rd time this week because of those freaking cars. anyways check on easter i'll have some kind of news and a picture but I'm officially putting the start date of pale rider at a week after i get Manga Studio.

Other than all the bad stuff i managed to get to finally get to a meeting of my schools anime club. They're pretty clever their name makes is the Acronym H.A.R.O i think its pretty clever. Anyways they showed a about six or seven episodes but my favorites were D.grey-man, code geass, welcome to the NHK, and Ouran High School Host Club. the last one surprised me but it was hilarious i couldn't stop laughing. nothing funnier than a guy trying to confess his love to a girl dressed as a guy while all the girls in the school look on. I was also really happy that they showed D.grey-Man because i have just started collecting the manga but the store in this god forsaken hell hole only has the first volume and nothing past what i have in my other collections either.

A Crisis of Character

I love the internet so much! i just spent the last two days reading every last megatokyo comic it was a good source of ideas and has inspired a few new characters for me. a few other things such as i have decided to go to black and white at least to start on the new comic so it has a more "manga" feel. i also think i'm gonna get manga studio.

i also got a job for the summer. meaning that i'll have money to get a 360 and electric guitar and any other things i decide i want at least for a while. this will also have no effect on the comics because i only work 7am to 3pm
Some thing that will affect the comics are that the characters seem to be getting away from me. I know some people don't really get this but you can't draw a comic if you don't have an accurate grasp of their personality. the other thing is i'm trying to get a spot on the bleachforums MMO and i have to come up with character sketches for a bunch of characters. which is interfering with the comic characters but is giving me severe brain blockage. hopefully i can get over this wall before i lose it for good.

I hope i haven't bored you with the details of my life but whining and complaining are what blogs are for.

Power Glove 2.0

well the change in this comic is the probably just gonna be cosmetic. it happened because a bunch of people saw my original helmet drawings and asked if the guy in the helmet was Soren, when i told them yes almost all of them said they liked it better so I changed it. Trust me it looks much better from different angles as far as the glove goes i just did it for the first time there but i thought if Soren has a next gen sword he should have a next gen power glove. As far as all the references in the second half of the comic I just have to say a have an unholy obsession with most things gundam and the first 2 were just to satiate the thirst for gundam. the second one is less a reflection of an obsession and more a reflection of the fact that I almost never find out about memes until after everyone else has left them by the wayside. this one was more spur of the moment and completely unimportant but i like it also if you've forgotten the sound of the scream at the end I suggest watching the video again.

also from now on i will update Console Wars on Sunday morning. also look out for my new comic coming soon I've finally got a name but I'll just keep it a secret for now. Anyways i think it will be really good and hopefully you'll all enjoy it. just as soon as i get the first page drawn and the website is up.
